The cold weather successfully has kept me away for skirts, dresses and bare legs... but hey, this is winter and I love it with all the good and down sides. So after a long period of time not wearing some of my favorite feminine pieces, is time to change something. I said "hold on"to pants and "Hello" to this  beautiful skirt from Lulu's.com ( my list of favorite/ timeless pieces from their website, couldn't end without a very feminine piece).

Holiday Favorites with JOE FRESH
Let the countdown begin!

In less than one month we celebrate Christmas and yes, it is the most wonderful time of the year! With this being said I have here today a post with my favorite picks for holidays from JOE FRESH:

I'm totally romantically involved with the blush pink color. For me this is more of a Spring color but this year it appears to be a Fall sensation as well. To make this color more autumnal appropriate I paired with -burgundy- and I added this light coat.

Now let's talk a little bit about this outfit.
To own a camel- hair coat was just a dream (for quite some time) that finally came true. I always knew that it will be a vintage one (affordable/ best quality) but I didn't know when I will find "the one". Well,  last week, before my NY trip I visited one of my favorite vintage boutique and I found this timeless piece in camel shade.
For a first wear I paired with white and a fuchsia accent.

Feminine meets Edgy!

These days I tried something different with my current trend obsession "full skirts". A full skirt speaks femininity but not girlish especially when in the mix shows up a leather jacket. I think it is a great balance between these two pieces - one delicate and flowy in contrast with a edgy bold piece.
The whole look has a graphic mood and is finished with the well-known signature striking color accents.

 Yes I did it again!

I went to NY and I wore a full skirt again. But something is different this time! This skirt is made by Bogdan and I ( do you remember the first skirt that we made? see it HERE ) It is our mini DIY project... a few more pieces soon to come... so stay tuned!
New York was beautiful as always, a little bit more colorful since I saw it last time. Of course we enjoyed our Soho tour, shopping and also the main reason of our coming back: A Joe Fresh store opening which now it became a favorite place to shop.

I like to call this look "Pattern Blocking" after one of my Pinterest board, where I like to collect all kind of outfits with mixed prints. Even though this print is almost the same on both skirt and shirt, it still delivers a bold impact and for sure the colors are having a good input in this -blocking - result!
