Another look wearing the favorite pairing at the moment: Skirt & Sweater, well a turtleneck sweater this time.
Camel and olive green are my chosen colors for today's look. Two remarks about this look: The skirt is vintage and it is my first time wearing it even though I have had it for quite some time now, and two: these pumps, oh these comfortable pumps are everything and more. As a lover of shoes, I am always on the search for the perfect pair. Sarah Flint shoes and especially the pumps are besides good looking and very qualitative... so very comfortable!

Here's a coupon for you if you decide to purchase a pair for the Holidays: VERONICA50 for $50 off!

Enjoy!

Last time you saw me wearing something yellow was a top, now it's time for a skirt, since skirts are my new "mini" obsession right now. I chose the classic black-yellow pairing as this skirt pops up wonderfully. A classic look for not so chilly days like today in PA. With this look, I am also ending my Fall (no coats) looks, and from now on we start the COAT season here on the blog.

If you've been following my blog for more than 4 years, you may remember this white skirt that I wore for the first time at the NYFW back in 2013 Here, or maybe you remember this look Here? Both of them are still favorites of mine and I decided to wear it again since this Fall I rediscovered the love for skirts.
There is nothing basic about a leather midi skirt! Pair it with a shirt or like me today, with a sweater and wear it high on the waist in order to create a
classic/ softly sophisticated silhouette.
This time I chose a white-cinnamon brown color combination, another mix that fits perfectly with the Fall color pallets in Philadelphia.
I can guarantee at least one more look coming up with this skirt soon, so stay tuned.

Print on print on print on print - all animal prints because the more the better! A bold mix in this shirt and skirt set, pairing animal print in the classic brown-black color with animal print in red-white and black colors. Definitely not a shy combination, but a powerful one. The feminine silhouette is still here so that adds softness to this entire look. For sure, that's one thing that will never change in my style- all things ladylike.

A deux piece plaid set is in the spotlight today! I am starting to have a soft spot for sets like this (skirt and blazer or pants and blazer). It is an elegant way of dressing up but these days you can make it casual too. This is not the case today since heels are involved in the mix, but a pair of flats will also do the job. Have fun with deux piece sets this season, I know I will try it again soon.

I am back with another look where a skirt is involved. As you may notice, this season I started wearing skirts after a longggg pause. I rediscovered the pleasure of wearing them in the mix with mostly sweaters & turtlenecks. This fiery orange skirt is a classic and there are many colors to combine with. Because we are in the Fall season, I chose this bow sweater in camel, one of my favorite combinations for red and orange.
So many wonderful color combinations for the Fall season, so little time to try them all, but I will do my best to highlight my most favorites.

A burgundy monochromatic look is a "must wear" this season for me. I recreate it every year! This time involves a velvet skirt, turtleneck sweater, and boots. And because the weather is pretty gentle with us the burgundy coat (that I usually wear) is still in the closet, but I am sure there will be enough time to wear it in the months to come ...
Voila!

Dark floral prints, plaid and checkered patterns, camel, mustard, burgundy, and teal colors, are predominantly must-have/ must-wear in the fall season.
Today's look with Brooks Brothers is the first one that marks a first in the plaid category!  I added pops of bright pink color with these accessories for a more contemporary edge although I love the pairings with muted colors, aiming the classic result.
Definitely more to come!

Go Green or go home! Well, not really but the color in today's look is not in between shades. Is the perfect color punch coming in doux piece directly to your closet (currently on SALE). Choose one, or indulge both as I did in my today's post.
I didn't need any other colors to this look, so, I found the balance with black and white accessories. A monochrome look is impactful and also a feminine silhouette is always a winner in my opinion. So there it is a win-win combination!

I am experimenting a new color this season: MINT! It is a fresh addition to any wardrobe and in today's outfit post, I am wearing a doux piece set in this color from Riva. Another new addition is that I went outside of my comfort zone in terms of shoes and I replaced my pointy pumps with heel sandals. Yes, it has been quite a while since I wore these sandals but I love how it looks this way. Maybe I should make room for more sandals this Summer?
