Starting the new year with a recap of my 2023 outfits! I love this kind of post where I look back at my favorite outfits, color combinations, or matching looks with my mini-me, Caroline (coming up next). For me, all the outfits have a storyline, and can’t wait to create new ones this year! This is my creative outlet and I love exploring, and experimenting, allowing my imagination to run free, where I don’t abide by the rules of today’s fashion. Artful creations in the form of outfits. I hope you will enjoy them along for another year and wish you all a Happy, Healthy, and Colorful New Year!
Starting the new year with a recap of all the favorite outfits that I wore in 2021. Still, another colorful and classic year fashion wise and I’m planning to keep it this way in 2022 as well.
Happy New Year to you and yours and thank you for following along!

With this post I’m saying goodbye to Massachusetts and perhaps to all the summery outfits. We couldn’t have left without visiting Crane Estate, this marvelous historic landmark with wonderful views and lovely gardens. With this last location we introduced Caroline to all our favorite places and we made so many beautiful memories all together here. We are grateful for this week spent in MA and we hope to visit again, maybe next year. This destination is definitely great for families with kids and not only. Until next time Massachusetts!

We enjoy spending time outdoors by visiting public gardens as well as hanging out in our own garden at home. Here are some shots from one Sunday when we brought the garden set under this lovely floral tree, and enjoyed cold drinks. The floral pitcher & glasses are vintage and lately I purchased a few floral sets like this which can only mean I am planing to spend more time outdoors because this is the season of garden parties & picnics. The beautiful ramie floral dress is from one of my favorite lately discovered brands and you have seen me wearing another piece from them, the one from Caroline's birthday seen Here. So, yes it is a floral celebration all over again!
I have another recapitulation for you today, this time: mommy and me matching outfits from past year. I’m hoping to continue this matching chapter with Caroline in 2021 but for now I'll leave these looks here for you to enjoy.
The 2020 favorite outfits recap is here! Year after year I do this kind of post highlighting my most loved looks, and there are plenty outfits that I will wear again. I loved being in the middle of nature season after season with just a few escapes in the city (starting from march). I look forward to see what this year will offer us. As always, we can only hope that this new year is better, not just for me but for everyone. I am also grateful for all the good that happened (yes, there are great things that happened too), and grateful for you and your support for another year! Happy New Year to you and yours!
Better late than never! A blue and white picnic is something that I had planned from middle of summer but only last month I got everything together for it! Again we went to a place we took photos before (see it here), and we spent few hours doing nothing but relaxing (Bogdan and I) and the kids running most of the time, catching and playing with grasshoppers. This is how we spent one of our afternoons after 6 hours of kindergarten from home (at that time) Now we are back in class...
We all need to go outside and get some fresh air!

With so much time spending at home these days and for sure more to come, I decided to start a new series of “tea time in the garden”. Today I have for you the first one, a blue and white themed tea time with my favorite little lady! We both put on our color coordinated dresses. As many of you are rethinking the home and outdoor activities, having a tea party is one great idea and today I’m sharing some tips for hosting a garden tea party, including what I like to use and wear for such an occasion.
1. Think favorite flavors (tea & sweets), I prefer wild fruits mix tea flavors, fresh fruits and a piece of cake.
I've receiveda lot of questions on Instagram about this cake. Well, it's easier to make than you can imagine. We chose a plain lemon cake base (you can choose yourfavorite flavor) and the top is painted fondant using edible colors (direct links under the CAKE DECORATION on top of the post). Because I chose a blue and white theme for this garden tea party, I decided to paint the cake in the same color scheme. It is very easy to make and you can use your creativity in decorating it in any color and any form you want. The kids loved the idea and wanted to participate in the making of the cake as well (it was a messy participation but they definitely had fun)...
2.Use your finest vintage china (new or old). Don’t be afraid to use your favorite sets (mixing and matching is always welcomed) because most definitely they are the central point of the table and way not, every day in your life is worth celebrating!
3. Bring some flowers (from your garden or market), I prefer roses in general but wild flowers are a delight as well when available to pick from the garden.
4. Tablecloth or not? You can do either way, I will definitely try both ways. When I choose to use a tablecloth, I like to pick a floral cotton one.
5. What to wear? The most common answer is probably “whatever you feel comfortable in” and as much as I love a white shirt & jeans, I will not be the one to wear them for a garden party just for the simple fact, I -love -dresses -too -much! If you are like me, pick stripes, gingham, floral prints or even a plain color. As for the shoes, YES, we really need to go with the most comfortable pair and today I opted for these Sarah Flint nude sandals that can be worn perfectly on the street and in the garden where I can play/ run after the kids as well and that is definitely a great bonus! If you don't want to compromise your style, Sarah Flint is your "go to" shoe brand.
I hope these tips help a little and all that remains is to enjoy your next tea party. I absolutely love garden tea parties and plan to have many more this Summer and in the Fall.

I still have some looks to post from my collaboration with RIVA, shot back in February, so I am grateful to have some positive/ colorful content until we are back to normal again.
It is said that nothing looks sleeker than head-to-toe tonal dressing. Is that the case here? I was wondering just because we talk about "DENIM" today and not necessarily a super elegant look. Either way, I love tonal dressing no matter the fabrics. One thing is for sure, this set can be worn together or in separate mixes and today I opted for an Americana color scheme.

Trying to totally ignore the news lately and to focus more on different things. So here I am with another look that I took back in February.
Beige with a very subtle hint of pink gingham and red lips for today. This pleated dress can be worn in two ways: A. As a dress, the way I wear it here and B. As a cover up. Works perfectly both ways, believe me! We all try to find versatility with the pieces that we own, so I am happy to have a variety of styling options with my clothes. Don't you?
