As fall colors unfolded everywhere, in the past week we stood mostly at home and enjoyed all the autumnal foliage right in our backyard. I have quite a few posts coming up from our garden and this particular post today is from one afternoon right before Noah came from school. Wrapped up in my favorite cashmere poncho along with a matching bandanna scarf, both from Santicler , we stood there and admired the sun going down while Noah and Caroline played with their scooters…

I hope you all have a lovely rest of the weekend!

On not so cold Fall days, I replace my coats with travel wraps or ponchos. Here is a fine one in burgundy, grey, and black colors matching perfectly with this pair of leather burgundy boots and bag. You probably already noticed that I like to create a color scheme with each outfit, and also a harmony of tones and/or prints. This look delivers both a mix of colors and prints!

Last week we had welcomed the first day of summer, which means more time to spend outdoors.
The first few days were quite indecisive in the weather department (a mix of sunshine in the morning with some showers and wind in the afternoons) and since we had already plans to spend one day with the kids at the Longwood Gardens (once again) I dressed for all the unexpected temperatures.
Casual and light as always for a day at our favorite garden but with a cover-up for the hot sun in the morning and even for some unwelcome wind in the afternoon.
So here I was playing with my scarf and poncho from Kinross Cashmere and also from their new collection I was wearing a classic (and a must have) white tank top I completed my look with white jeans and hat, a pair of espadrilles and a straw bag all tone- on- tone.
Here today I show you how to be prepared for the unpredictable weather while you enjoy the outdoors and you don’t have to compromise in being chic, casual and comfortable!

Just because I have a strange attachment for cashmere in general, and this coat in particular, I feel like wearing it again and again. I bet you know the feeling! But here is something new in a striking color :) This green candy bag is kind of an unexpected element paired with this classic look. Well, is an interesting pairing and I’m loving it!

The colorless January days are asking my artistic soul to bring some burst of warmth in the monotone winter scene … Well, this Sezane velvet jacket is for sure a staple in my wardrobe, and a versatile piece to keep. Styled along brown colors and some pop of reds on a walk in the countryside, this piece is soft to the touch and adds a dash of daring to this casual look.

Finding new places to wonder and keep Caroline curiosity open is something that we are constantly searching for. Pennsylvania has plenty of places like these where picturesque, history and culture collide and we are ready to discover them all! It was a Friday morning when Caroline didn't have classes so we took a trip to Valley Forge and we spent a couple of hours exploring one side of the park. We found this charming old spot and took some pictures. Caroline was so inspired, she was singing and dancing (see reels on instagram). We definitely want to comeback for more in the complete formula.

Having good weather to enjoy in the middle of October it’s pure bliss. And where else you can find me then strolling one of my favorite gardens? Not to mention the presence of different flowers during this time of the year. Wrapped in silk and cashmere will make a good outfit for warmer fall days. Today I am wearing Ala van Auersperg silk shirt dress styled as a first in an elegant way. It is indeed a classic versatile piece! Also, the silky smooth touch and the feathery print in blue & brown makes it a unique staple to own.

Light blue & navy colors united in one monochrome look! The accent and the center of attention of this look is taken by the finest and tiniest accessory, this Jeff Wan leather bag. I love the delicate floral printed embossed croc that transforms this launch bag into the most feminine accessory to carry all year long. As a first look, I present to you here this wintery outfit and I look forward to style it in the seasons ahead by pairing it with floral cotton dresses…

Here comes a neutral look! It's not exactly “new” because it was taken back in November, but I find it perfect to post it now at the beginning of  the year, as it looks fresh and cozy! Layers of cashmere mixed with wool and alpaca are the perfect ingredients for winter days even at the beach. This dress was on repeat all winter long so you will see another look with it soon.
