The yellow outfit series continue, this time a dress is involved into the mix. My last two posts are also showcasing a hat as accessory so here’s another one and I assure you it wasn’t a bad hair day/days, just the perfect time to wear my favorite hats.

Until Spring is here with a round of fresh new colors I will continue with these autumnal posts.

I am glad we took these photos back in November because this backdrop will not look the same right now without these colors. I love seeing COLORS, any kind of colors, from pastels to vivid, bold colors so I chase them everywhere I go! I also love wearing colors! So with each outfit I bring out a palette that I like. In today's post I have a mix of pineapple yellow against the neutrals! This coat/pants set is a vintage Talbots and you've already seen me wear the coat before (Here). Now I'm wearing the complete set!

Some "behind the scenes" are also incorporated in today’s post! I love when they're “crashing” the scene and I don’t have to ask them to take a photo with me!

I crave long walks and greenery surroundings, so with these winter low temperatures it’s only one place to retreat myself even for a few hours. Two weeks ago we enjoyed all these at Longwood Gardens conservatory. We chose to go in the middle of the week to avoid the crowds. Dressed casual, I was ready to spend the day with Caroline, while Noah was at school, wondering around, even getting lost through so many rooms. I was wearing a beautiful cashmere poncho and scarf from a newly discovered knitwear brand santicler.com  ethically manufactured in Romania, where the owner is originally from, and also my birthplace. Definitely happy to support a fellow Romanian with such a timeless and qualitative range of products! I must say that I loved wearing this duo pairing and my appetite for head scarves just increased a lot more...

Another look taken last fall in the fields wearing this beautiful cashmere yellow cloak from Linen Naive The vintage maxi dress has been showcased here before but I wanted to wear it again, this time against the bold yellow color. It feels ideal for a fairy tale scene, and I felt like it.

The 2020 favorite outfits recap is here! Year after year I do this kind of post highlighting my most loved looks, and there are plenty outfits that I will wear again. I loved being in the middle of nature season after season with just a few escapes in the city (starting from march). I look forward to see what this year will offer us.
As always, we can only hope that this new year is better, not just for me but for everyone. I am also grateful for all the good that happened (yes, there are great things that happened too), and grateful for you and your support for another year!
Happy New Year to you and yours!

This great weather is already gone and the yellow leaves are all on the ground. But let’s comeback to one morning when we went to the garden's deck to enjoy a perfect fall day, while Noah was at school. Tea and pumpkin pie while Caroline was playing around, this sums up that few hours under the November's sun. This cotton dress is from last year, another lovely custom made shirt dress that works on every season.

It was a great last day of September when we took a walk on our uncle's property. The colors of Fall were popping out and we even found bushes of flowers. Slowly but surely cold temperatures are approaching and these walks are already a sweet memory, where Caroline walked barefoot.

You are going to see me wearing many yellow outfits this season because Fall is all about this color (among others). This look was taken in Philadelphia two weeks ago and I  was happy to walk again in heels! I've had this pair of linen pants since Spring but just now I found a way of wearing them! I think I’m ready to embrace only fall outfits from now on!

Our backyard is slowly starting  to change colors and I can’t wait for that! It looks truly beautiful when all the trees are painted in yellow & orange colors. It’s also official boots weather so I took my newly launched Sarah Flint cognac boots for a walk in the garden! Beautifully crafted and like all Sarah Flint shoes - so very comfortable, this pair works great with dresses, as well as it does with pants. Today  I have them paired with a forever favorite color combination: White - Camel in an early fall ensemble! Voila! A coupon code is still available for first time clients of SF shoes. Use SARAHFLINT-VERA at checkout for $50 off! Enjoy!

Another outing in the backyard to celebrate nothing else but the Summer, squeezing lemons and making lemonade ( 99% lemons and 1% orange, plus adding ice and fresh mint from our garden). We do this regularly at home but we said why not enjoying it outside too! And yes, another reason to get dressed up :)
I had the perfect set for the “occasion”, this silk shirt & skirt with lemon prints from Hunterbellnyc.com
No lemon prints for Caroline this time but you can bet I always have a yellow dress in her closet. The boys can always match in navy-white, right?
Both Noah and Caroline loved the idea, they always want to “help” no matter what. No glasses were broken, so I consider it a successful and fun afternoon for everybody!
