My artistic approach could be explained as an escape from the reality, into the wonderful and playful world of colours, innocent games and endless childhood. This personal vision promotes freedom as the ultimate state of mind, soul and body. I created my own universe with a parallel existence, but, unlike the one we live in, mine is always positive and virtually worry free. The central point of this ever happy world are the friendly characters of the "STRIPE FAMILY" - the prototype of the perfect household. The Stripe Family is always surrounded by playful, dreamlike shapes painted in bright, energy giving colours.
This fantastic universe is contagious: it tends to pull the viewer in, and show him a better place to be. The purpose of my work is to inspire happy and innocent feelings in a world that sometimes forget about simple things and dreams and focuses too much on the crazy day-to-day routine. It is a call to return to our roots, to take a moment off of our mechanical existence and meditate upon our beginnings, to try to make this life a joyful experience.
