Black and White is not my forte color combination, but from time to time I like experimenting with non bold hues. Today’s look is a mix of a white top (because of it, I’m wearing b&w) with a pair of white pants and black boots. This shirt is my ideal design when I want to wear something romantic in something different than a dress. As you may see this location is not in our backyard but a friend's backyard, so I love to try a different scenery from time to time (boots were necessary as there was water, plenty of it).

This party was specially created for Caroline's second birthday as we really wanted to do a garden party as soon as everything started to bloom in our backyard. Just the 4 of us and lots of daisies! I've loved this flower since my childhood and I couldn’t miss the chance of creating something with this theme for Caroline. I must say, making this cake was a challenge but with so much time in our hands, I said why not make it from scratch (first time making a fondant icing cake). I've also made these fun party hats, and the rest of the supplies came mostly from Etsy (I linked everything for you above).
We spent a couple of hours in the garden and these are some (many) of my favorite photos captured on that day both with my phone and camera photo.

This bag is on repeat as well as this camel coat! Two recent favorites worn together, and it looks quite wonderful color- wise. I introduced another pair of Stan Smith white sneakers in my closet so with this look I am making their debut. Casual, classic & comfortable as I like to name it 3C :)

I've always find myself circling back to something in GREEN color! It’s no a secret that green is one of my top two favorite colors and this MME.MINK Brunch at Bergdorf’s Envy Bag is quite a stunner! I find this canvas felt fabric perfect for cold days as it looks and feels the same as my wool coat: oversized and minimalist just perfect for winter days. For today I have a black & ivory look with the right pop of color making these February days a little bit more colorful and comfy.

When you slightly start dreaming of the upcoming season (I know, I have to wait few more months for that) and you incorporate hints of Spring colors into your wintery look. This winter so far was very gentle with us so I got to wear almost everything I wanted without any restriction. Even a completely white outfit, on a day with 60+ temperatures! And because I mentioned Spring, the return of the straw bag is here, also these pop pastel colors are another hint that indicates what I am looking forward to. I always like to look forward to things... way too forward sometimes:)

Jeans time, casual time in Philadelphia, wearing jeans, loafers and this vintage trench coat scored on Etsy recently. I have another look coming up wearing this coral trench coat in a dress combination so stay tuned to see that one too. P.S. Did you notice the new short haircut and the fact I let my hair down? I am hoping to do it more often but I don't guarantee it, I still love a minimalist low bun.

This year (unfortunately) we skipped our tradition of going all together to our favorite Tree Farm to get the Christmas tree. The kids were sick so in order to have some Holiday Cards with them we took these photos in our backyard when the weather was a bit more indulgent with us. I loved the idea of cut wood for fire in the background so we gave it a try which was also nice for a change. Let's wait and see what next year has in store for us!
With these being said, Merry Christmas from our family to yours and I hope you all enjoy the Holidays with your family and loved ones!

We had our first visit at Longwood Gardens in the winter season, and as you can imagine it was a delightful one. We only visited during Spring-Summer months but this year we adventured to see and feel the holiday spirit at this beautiful garden. The kids were so enthusiastic seeing all the grand decorations and lights everywhere, we barely took a few clear photos. I especially wanted to capture Caroline’s outfit, which was so darling. All, except the bonnet, are from pepaandcompany.com.
Burgundy - Grey colors works so wonderfully on this little girl. I was wearing a Pink -Black casual (and ready-to-run everywhere after the kids) classic outfit.
Definitely from now on we are going to visit Longwood Gardens more often in the winter season!

When you say "Maine" among others you say "Lighthouses" Here's the second one we visited and took photos: Portland Head Light, also known as the Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse. For me, the beauty of this lighthouse is the location. It sits on top of a rocky cliff at Casco Bay and I went a bit further to take these photos so we can capture the entire panoramic/ epicc coastal scene. I could have chosen to wear jeans and a sweater BUT you know me by now, so I chose to wear nothing less than a red maxi shirt dress, boots and a shawl ... This iconic beam was the inspiration for Henry Wadsworth's poem "The Lighthouse" and I was inspired to create a picturesque scene.
Back in May we traveled to Portland, Maine for a wedding, and of course, we took advantage of the occasion and made a mini vacation out of it to explore a bit of the surroundings. We had plans to visit Maine for 2 years but we never finalized these plans. Now that we got to "taste" the beauty of this place, we surely need to come back for more.
Here are some photos from an afternoon stroll with the family in Portland. It was a little bit windy so the trench coat (I take it with me everywhere) was needed. Casual with a pop of color is definitely the mood of this look. The straw bag is in place, so voila!
