Our spring break in Savannah was just what we needed at the end of March! We loved every minute there and the kids had so much fun. So let’s start with the first look I wore, this monochrome jeans & top pairing. I know, black is not my usual color but here I am making this shift! I love its simplicity; combined with camel/ tan accessories, it looks classic and elegant. Even though I’m a color enthusiast, I started to love incorporating black pieces into my outfits and will probably do it more often.

Still sweater weather here in PA, but hopefully soon the sun will shine bright and we will enjoy some warmer spring weather. Speaking of sunshine, I wore this look a while back to brighten up my day and I loved pairing the light buttery yellow coat with this Sezane bold canary cardigan (worn backward) & earrings. I haven’t stopped there and brought to the mix a comfortable pair of raffia kitten heel shoe that blends harmoniously with all these shades of yellow tones and creamy white.
Let’s hope the brighter days are ahead of us so we can celebrate the colors of the new season.

I am bringing back my favorite topic (after styling florals) of how to style 1 Bittersweet Collars, in 3 different ways. Versatility, versatility, and more versatility of one detachable collar. Having in mind this feature, imagine how many “new” outfits you can create with garments that you already own in your closet and give them a fresh new look! This was one of my top priorities when I decided to create my own brand Bittersweet Collars. Not a big brand but more like simple ideas that can transform your looks into something feminine, sophisticated, and unique. Today’s outfit is one example of how a simple, minimalist look can be transformed in 3 different ways, adding either just a feminine little frill or a bold statement and even a backward twist! Choose what suits your personality best!

Coats are still in use these days, but the sun is out as well. It’s not hot but warm enough, and it allows me to wear white jeans and loafers again. The approach is simple, and I love this color combo, it’s a forever classic, and it’s almost like a half-winter and a half-spring outfit. The wicker basket is where the spring wins the balance.

March month is almost here, so our hopes are high for spring's arrival!

An outfit from last year is today’s look here on the blog.
Right after I took the photos for my Fall collection I returned to the same place for another photo shoot. I loved this spot and its colors so much, and I wanted to capture this beauty one more time. White on white, tartan print and a little floral frill peeking were the main components of this look. The contrast was beautiful and a bit of color does not hurt anyone on these grey winter days.

Looks like the nature is following its normal course! The days are becoming cooler and shorter, but nonetheless, we are enjoying this season and especially its endless mix of colors. And because colors are my all time favorite subject, today’s post is about the balance of emerald and teal tones in contrast with a pair of white jeans. In between, I added some patterns and prints with my earrings and this vintage bag, both matching in an organic way with the entire color palette and adding even more pizazz to the entire look.

All the spring elements incorporated in one outfit: Pastel colors✔️floral print✔️ and an overall easygoing look ✔️I love how a Bittersweet Collars can be styled in many ways, including under a cardigan, creating the illusion of a blouse. Perhaps next time will be on a dress making an impactful visual appearance in the most feminine way.

Voila!

One more look involving Fall colors and again, it wasn’t necessary to leave our home. These pictures were taken on our porch were we spend a lot of time no matter of the season. This time it's a pant-sweater outfit in white - yellow- camel colors. I'm also wearing one of my BC Catherine Collar- Downshire, available Here.

It’s a classic mix, and a comfortable one that may be worn in the winter as well, just add a coat on top and you are set!

Back with another look involving pants, this time with one of my favorite collars tucked under the sweater. This floral piece is from our latest Bittersweet Collars collection and is now available on the shop Here. This look is all about the last finished touches and how just one detail can give femininity to a masculine look.

“One dress, two ways to wear it” series continues! Here’s a second look wearing the same Ala von Auersperg dress, this time styled in a more casual elegant manner, as a maxi shirt! Jeans, boots, a sweater on my shoulders and using the same blue hat that unifies the entire look again. My last two looks showed one more time what a good investment a classic piece can be, styled differently and also allows you to wear it many times in different occasions. As I always like to say, versatility is the key!
