The burgundy season has arrived!
If you've been following me for some time now, you probably know that I will wear this color in excess and I will combine all the shades of oxblood with many other colors. As a first per this season, I'm starting with yellow. This beautiful warm color matches perfectly the wine shades of my J.Crew pants and Who What Wear top. Besides all this, the mini polka dot scarf completes the outfit and it gives that "darling" touch.

We went to the countryside again last week, and I have to say that this Summer we spent more time there than at the ocean, Countryside 7 times - Ocean 0. And yes, we have chickens and one rooster :) Because I usually document my travels (and not only), I decided to do a photo shoot there with the surroundings too. I'm familiar with farm animals from spending summers at my grandparents' back home in Romania and I want Noah to be familiar as well, so far he loves it and maybe one day we will own a small farm house with a rose garden and of course a few chickens #MondayDreaming.

As art lovers, both Bogdan and I enjoyed staying at the Dean Hotel in Providence. The attention for details, pieces of art hanging on the walls and a mix of vintage with modern furniture made a good impression and a comfortable accommodation. Inspired by the place, Bogdan decided to take some photo inside. The result is right here in today's post. I personally love the Vermeer inspired portraits, the light was just perfect and I think the vintage polka dot dress is a plus as well.

If you look back at my last "Wish List" Here you will see that I couldn't resist buying some pieces from that list :) This ruffled polka dot shirt is a "must have" especially if you like all the ladylike clothes that bring instantly a romantic mood in your outfit. And the affordable price is another plus. In today's post, I paired it with blue jeans and a vintage cape and basket bag. I intend to wear this shirt with dresses and skirts as well, so stay tuned to see the result.

 I'm pretty sure every woman has a "dream list","dream box" or just an item in her mind that keeps dreaming abut. To tell you the truth, I have tons of those lists in my mind and on my computer and today I'm revealing my Spring favorites: 1. Starting with these floral pumps that are so feminine and I can see them going with everything, from jeans to ladylike dresses. So a "must have". 2. Speaking of femininity, another item makes the list, this lovely polka dot ruffled shirt. I'm sure this is the year of romantic, feminine, glamorous trends and I'm so into all of them. And #3, this mini dress with embellished details.  These are my top 3 favorites, what are yours?

Something new (the dress), something old, these polka dot navy pumps... Although this combination is not a very colorful one, I clashed some prints to make it look a bit more playful. As usual, it is a feminine and classic outfit and the afternoon light, when these shots were taken, added a romantic mood to the photos. I should take photos at this golden hour more often...

NYFW Day 5 was no exception of dressing in my habitual classic dresses. This time a plain, rich burgundy dress paired with a printed cashmere scarf. The cherry on top was his python red bag which completes perfectly the autumnal chromatic colors.

Confession Time:

I have a new designer crush, a very creative one and today's post shows you one of her creations. Not often it happens to me to really like a designer and to have the pleasure to collaborate with him/ her. Well, this time it happened and I'm very happy to show you a few looks, one by one detailed..

Let me tell you a few words about Tia Cibani. She is the former creative director of Ports 1961 and she recently launched her eponymous line TIA CIBANI www.tiacibani.com

Her collections speaks volume to me: colors and patterns in modern feminine shapes, one creative garment after another ...I'm sold entirely ...and this dress speaks for herself.

Today's look: prints on the bottom, solid color on top. I decided to talk mostly about the floral prints that dominate today's post because I'm clearly very happy with my new purchase: this pair of pointers. Finally I found the perfect pair of floral heels, as you know, I was searching for them for a while. I want to wear them every day but I'll put my desire on hold for a little while and I predict a lot of outfits this Summer accessorized by these shoes.

The one and only reason I love rainy days is because I have the chance to wear my trench coats. I have this staple piece in different colors but still my favorite is the classic nude one. When I want to match nude with colors, I have some particular favorites: yellow, pink , white and blue to name a few.
Last week in Philadelphia I chose blue boyfriend jeans and a polka dot peter pan collar shirt with a side of bold color accessories. I guess I have to wait until the next rainy weather  to try another combination mentioned above.
P.S.  On that day I didn't saw a drop of rain :)
