A well-deserved getaway has happened last week when we went for a few days to the newly opened Lokal A-frame Cabin in Dorchester NJ. Located in the middle of nowhere, this is all you need to enjoy some relaxing time with friends and family away from the city and still have all the comfort of home.

Once again Stay Lokal owners did a wonderful job with this second location and has created the perfect, comfortable "home away from home" place to relax. The mix of modern details and rustic touches is the perfect combination of a cabin these days. It definitely makes us want to come back soon to experience more peaceful moments ...
Starting today I will share a few posts, and this is one of them.

The first editorial of this new season is here! Upstate New York has something special (colors &views) during the Autumn season! So we didn't miss the chance of a mini trip, relaxing and taking some photos out there.
A white on white combination is making a good mix as a first look. I wanted to combine some old chic pieces like this Victorian-inspired high neck dress and a chunky vintage sweater with some pops of colors from this plaid scarf and orange cozy socks. Of course, a hat and some Hunter boots are a must, always!
Voila!

This pink custom-made dress is on repeat every year and sometimes even more than once. I usually wear it during the Spring-Summer season, but this time I did something different and wore it in the Fall. Black and white accessories were my choices this time, and not just one pattern but two: polka dots and checks. Voila!

Floral dresses are here to stay and because the weather was so nice this week in Philadelphia, I wore this layering of prints from Review Aistralia newest collection and no cover-up was required (not yet). Lately, you saw me wearing other floral dresses from their recent collections Here, and Here and now this adorable blue-white number. Speaking of prints and colors, in today's post I paired a pussy bow polka dot sleeveless shirt with this simple feminine dress, both in blue, navy-white colors. I kept the shoes in the same tone, navy color pumps and yet another floral print added to this look and as a contrast, I added this red vintage-inspired bag from their new collection. Fun fact: this bag comes with 3 ribbons in 3 different colors (black, light pink and navy, which I am wearing today attached to the bag). Isn't this detail lovely and not to mention versatile? Sometimes it's all about the details and I am always looking for them. Another thing that captured my attention on this dress was these adorable sleeves with my all-time favorite length (elbow length).

Because Philadelphia has so many charming neighborhoods and lovely spots, some of them I keep featuring here on the blog, you may recognize some, such as this lovely one with the red door and great architectural elements. It is always in our way but, there are only some particular outfits that I like to wear to take photos here. I felt that today's outfit is so ladylike and matches perfectly with the backdrop! Voila!

For more ladylike and vintage-inspired dresses visit Review Australia Collection Here and Tops Here and indulge in some great shopping!

As much as I love the Summer season and I don't want to see it go, I must confess I am a "bit" excited about the change that will come in the next months. So today, I have for you a transitional look where I mixed some summery pieces with a Fall turtleneck, all from Marc Cain brand. In case this is a new brand for you as they recently launched in the USA, this successful fashion company was founded in 1973 by Helmut Schlotterer and operates almost 200 stores in 34 countries and now they just opened a new one in King Of Prussia Mall, Philadelphia. I visited the store and today's look incorporates some of my favorite pieces from their collection! Pink suede loafers, a polka dot full skirt, a black turtleneck and bag and the final touch, a colorful scarf. Individually, each piece that I am wearing can be worn in at least 2 different seasons. You know I am always looking for pieces that can be worn in at least 3 different ways/ 3 different looks. Once again, it is all about versatility and classic pieces!
Voila!

This Spring weather makes you want to spend more time out and less in the house. If you have a garden, even better... Because I like everything related to tea parties, here is my latest one, which can be very well a good idea for Mother's Day celebration as well.
You know very well by now that I am a tea lover and I always like to have treats and sweet bites on my table. Today, along with my favorite tea flavor (lavender), I picked Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls because they are:
1. Delicious, 2. easy & fast to bake, 3. you can find them near you at the closest Walmart store and last but not least 4. it allows you to be creative with your menu (see more recipes Here)You can prepare mini sandwiches, I personally love them with butter and marmalade or Nutella and strawberries. No matter what's your favorite, all these combinations goes great with a cup of tea...
So easy to entertain when you spend less than 30 minutes for all the preparations!
Voila!

I'm back with another post from this quiet place in Upstate NY to show you another outfit and the surroundings. I was wearing my favorite vintage polka dot dress (wore it before Here) and a vintage chunky sweater (unintentionally matching the orange trees ). We took these photos right next to our cabin so you can understand my delight waking up every morning of our stay to this beautiful view. Fall is so wonderful and full of drama this time of the year!
