This fall I made a comeback to my old/ strong color combinations that some of you may remember (from the beginning of my blog). The autumnal mood just gave me that push: let’s bring back the true colors of Bittersweet Colours, so once and for all I create a personal hashtag celebrating favorite, unusual, bitter and sweet color combinations: #BittersweetColoursCombinations

We had our first visit at Longwood Gardens in the winter season, and as you can imagine it was a delightful one. We only visited during Spring-Summer months but this year we adventured to see and feel the holiday spirit at this beautiful garden. The kids were so enthusiastic seeing all the grand decorations and lights everywhere, we barely took a few clear photos. I especially wanted to capture Caroline’s outfit, which was so darling. All, except the bonnet, are from pepaandcompany.com.
Burgundy - Grey colors works so wonderfully on this little girl. I was wearing a Pink -Black casual (and ready-to-run everywhere after the kids) classic outfit.
Definitely from now on we are going to visit Longwood Gardens more often in the winter season!

For most of my looks (98%) I chose simple (or you may call them classic) shapes because they can live longer. A classic is a classic, right? BUT, sometimes I like to experiment different shapes, and there is a good reason for that. At least every season I want to try new things in fashion and to get out of my comfort zone (to be understood -not very far from what I usually wear). It is refreshing and much needed from time to time. So, with these being said, this look is one of these experiments. I replaced the fit and flare shape with this 1920-inspired dress design. I could have chosen to wear it with a belt but I said no. In the end, I wanted to see if I can manage to transform the look in something that you can call "Bittersweet Colours" without going back to my favorite design shape. I personally love it and the polka dot print domination helped quite a lot. What do you think?

Don't tell me I didn't warn you! Polka dot prints lately dominate my posts and I have even more to show you. Today's post is all about this dress from Riva. Yes, another favorite from this Collection. The overall silhouette of this dress and the puffy sleeves makes this dress a must have not just for this season but for many years, at least in my wardrobe. Also, what dominates this season in my preferred shoes category? These thong sandals that I wear on repeat again and again. I think I may need some more colors in this design :)

6 MONTHS later, my little Caroline returns on the blog with a little collection of photos very dear to me. I said it before with Noah and I will say it again: time does fly so fast! Even if it's not easy every day, I would not change anything, contrary, I will like to keep her at this stage for a while. I certainly can't do that so I capture photos of her to have them forever. She's the sweetest and I feel so blessed having these two little babies...

Morning moments in the garden captured by Bogdan about a month ago, this time in our garden, doing nothing just chilling in the shadow of the big trees. Caroline likes to spend time outdoors maybe because we took her outside from her first week of life, and here I am not talking about doctor appointments, but walks in the park and in the city... Girls are just being girls and of course, we got dressed like we were going to a garden party. I especially love Caroline's monogrammed "CMC" blouse from Tierno Portugal What can I say, dressed for the "occasion" :)
IT'S A GIRL!
This month is a very special one for me (my birthday and Noah's birthday) and because of that, I want to share the wonderful news that Bogdan and I are expecting a baby GIRL!
So, today I am sharing all my favorite things for her starting with this:
With just a few weeks left, until we meet our new baby, I wanted to create this post revealing all my favorites things I got for her during these months. Some of you who know me well, probably remember that I always wanted a girl and right now I feel complete having Noah and soon the little baby girl. This month both Noah and I celebrate our birthdays, so who knows maybe she decides to come earlier and join us for a multiple birthday party. For the second time (first was Noah) would be the best present that I could ever ask for :) Let's wait and see... So, here I am, shopping for a little girl and as you can imagine: dresses, floral prints, and peachy- pink colors are dominating her little closet (I can't help it)! Most of her things (clothes, swaddles, dolls, bibs, pillows and more) are not from well-known retailers but from Etsy shops as I wanted something more unique and qualitative and also to continue supporting artist and artisans from around the world and their handmade work. This cause is dear to me as I show it many times before in my fashion choices. Now I extend it to baby fashion as well, and believe me it is worth it! You will find all the shops links mentioned under the photos showcasing their products and I can strongly recommend you to consider shopping for them as I personally am very happy with each and every product purchased. I'm still determined to not transform my blog into a "Mama blog" but definitely you will see more baby related posts from now on! It's going to be a double girly girl world now! With these being said we can't wait to meet you baby girl!

Our Christmas tree picking tradition continues this year as well! We all went to our favorite tree farm to pick this year's Christmas tree and of course, we tried to capture some moments from there. The most wonderful surprise was the fact that we had some snow (A first) since we started this tradition a couple of years ago, so we couldn't be happier to see the scenery. One or more of these photos is going to be on our Christmas card so let's see which one is the one. Any thoughts?
