Another outfit taken right when the fall leaves were in full display. I was wearing this cream-white tones combination, rewearing this white skirt displayed a while ago Here. Can you ever get tired of this color palette? I don't think so!

This year (unfortunately) we skipped our tradition of going all together to our favorite Tree Farm to get the Christmas tree.  The kids were sick so in order to have some Holiday Cards with them we took these photos in our backyard when the weather was a bit more indulgent with us. I loved the idea of cut wood for fire in the background so we gave it a try which was also nice for a change. Let's wait and see what next year has in store for us!

With these being said, Merry Christmas from our family to yours and I hope you all enjoy the Holidays with your family and loved ones!

Today's post is a love declaration for this terracotta color. As you can see all I am wearing (except the boots) has this autumnal color infused. There is no secret of how much I love bold colors and you are going to see even more outfit examples in my next posts!

Last time you saw me wearing something yellow was a top, now it's time for a skirt, since skirts are my new "mini" obsession right now. I chose the classic black-yellow pairing as this skirt pops up wonderfully. A classic look for not so chilly days like today in PA. With this look, I am also ending my Fall (no coats) looks, and from now on we start the COAT season here on the blog.

A burgundy monochromatic look is a "must wear" this season for me. I recreate it every year! This time involves a velvet skirt, turtleneck sweater, and boots. And because the weather is pretty gentle with us the burgundy coat (that I usually wear) is still in the closet, but I am sure there will be enough time to wear it in the months to come ...
Voila!

And a first look with boots is here! I've always said that I love this exact time in between changing seasons because I can wear boots with dresses and no coat is required. I am sure this interval of time will not last long, or who knows, maybe we are lucky to have a warm Fall Season, and we don't have to jump to coats right away, even though I am excited for that chapter too.
Happy Fall Season to you all!

When you say "Maine" among others you say "Lighthouses"
Here's the second one we visited and took photos: Portland Head Light, also known as the Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse. For me, the beauty of this lighthouse is the location. It sits on top of a rocky cliff at Casco Bay and I went a bit further to take these photos so we can capture the entire panoramic/ epicc coastal scene.
I could have chosen to wear jeans and a sweater BUT you know me by now, so I chose to wear nothing less than a red maxi shirt dress, boots and a shawl ...
This iconic beam was the inspiration for Henry Wadsworth's poem "The Lighthouse" and I was inspired to create a picturesque scene.

The rich fall colors are starting to pop up here and there on my blog as I said it would. In less than two weeks we are welcoming September and with it all things autumn.
Here today I am wearing bursts of colors in a striking combination: Orange-Fuchsia. For me, this is an early Fall look when the weather is still warm.
Are you ready for more bold colors, layers, and even boots?

Second post from Savannah and this hat is making another appearance, this time in a top-pant combination. Balloon sleeves, pants tucked into the leather boots and all the palm trees and southern vegetation that make everything looks more exotic. Voila! What is your favorite look with this hat and how would you wear it? Pants or a dress?

This coat is on repeat. I wanted to wear this color combination for a while, and last week I finally did it. Emerald green-brown is a mix only for Fall- Winter days in my agenda, it's a "heavy" one so I would wear it only in the cold season.
Do you have any color combinations that you think are working just for some specific seasons?
