I am glad we took these photos back in November because this backdrop will not look the same right now without these colors. I love seeing COLORS, any kind of colors, from pastels to vivid, bold colors so I chase them everywhere I go! I also love wearing colors! So with each outfit I bring out a palette that I like. In today's post I have a mix of pineapple yellow against the neutrals! This coat/pants set is a vintage Talbots and you've already seen me wear the coat before (Here). Now I'm wearing the complete set!

Some "behind the scenes" are also incorporated in today’s post! I love when they're “crashing” the scene and I don’t have to ask them to take a photo with me!

Even if these pictures were taken last fall, it just seems appropriate to post them now, for Valentine’s Day.
We took these photos last fall in our backyard with the boldest red colored bush. It happened to rain too, and I couldn’t be happier to add my umbrella to this photoshoot. Long time I haven’t had a rainy day on my blog. Et voila!

I can easily call this last snow storm “epic”. A great amount of snow accumulation left us doing nothing other than either stay inside looking through our window or, once the snow stopped, go outside and all just be children and play in the backyard. An innocent snowball fight turned into one of the most fun activities. I remember experiencing something similar in high school or so... At the end it was just between me and Bogdan throwing lots of snowballs at each other and I am pretty sure I won ;) The kids were cheering us in the background so they were participating in their own way. Also, Bogdan built a snowman and then it was Noah and Caroline's turn for a snowball fight.

Days like these, totally unplanned, are surprisingly the best and I’m glad we decided to beat the cold temperatures for a few hours.

No, it's not fall all over again, I simply have more looks to show you from last year.
This is the first look we took by the lake, or better said, half of the photos in the lake! I swapped my leather boots with trusty Hunters and I was ready for some muddy moments that I hoped to encounter when I left home. I will always have a soft spot for these kind of photos in the nature. It’s part an artistic approach and part fashion, when fashion meets art but with a higher percentage of artistic flare.

Ready or not, it's Christmas in 3 days and I happen to be done with all the wrapping presents earlier than in previous years. To be noted, these are the actual presents that we prepared for the family, not some empty boxes, so it was a challenge to sneak behind Noah's back so he wouldn't see us :) This year he is fully aware about this holiday, Santa and especially about presents. Caroline, not so much but she likes presents anyway!
Now, let’s start the food preparation!

I told you that I have a fixation with beige, camel, brown colors this season. Here’s another mix, this time using camel with red. It’s classic and timeless! I wore this outfit on that gap of warm weather that we had at the beginning of November but if I have to wear it now, I will just add a camel coat. Camel is such a great neutral and works well with many colors.

These boots are on repeat lately! As a first look I pair them with another striking color (teal), instead of a classic color. I just love these colors together and even if it isn't your regular color mix, dare to try something new. Fashion it’s all about having fun at least once in a while.

It was a great last day of September when we took a walk on our uncle's property. The colors of Fall were popping out and we even found bushes of flowers. Slowly but surely cold temperatures are approaching and these walks are already a sweet memory, where Caroline walked barefoot.

The only place where I can wear again my boots or heels is in the city. With all the social distancing, and I mean really distancing (on the trails mostly) for the last 8 months, I missed a little bit wearing heeled shoes. This dress + boots weather is a favorite of mine during Fall and I know it doesn’t last long. So, here I’m wearing another summery dress via Tuke Bazaar in combination with boots.
You have a favorite summer dress that you are not ready to put it away? Or perhaps a dress that you haven’t had the chance to wear it yet? Either way, add a long cardigan and boots and make it look Fall! I just did that with two dresses and this is one of them! I love versatile pieces as well to create versatile looks, like this one! Wear your dresses all year long. It’s all about pairing and timing.
Now back on the trails wearing flatten boots!

Our backyard is slowly starting  to change colors and I can’t wait for that! It looks truly beautiful when all the trees are painted in yellow & orange colors. It’s also official boots weather so I took my newly launched Sarah Flint cognac boots for a walk in the garden! Beautifully crafted and like all Sarah Flint shoes - so very comfortable, this pair works great with dresses, as well as it does with pants. Today  I have them paired with a forever favorite color combination: White - Camel in an early fall ensemble! Voila! A coupon code is still available for first time clients of SF shoes. Use SARAHFLINT-VERA at checkout for $50 off! Enjoy!
