Throwback Tuesday to a matching in red moment. One year ago around this time, both Caroline and I wore red looks in the golden fields on a trail. Looking back at these photos I can easily see how much she has grown up since that time, I almost can’t believe it’s just one year ago. It was the end of October when we took these photos and it was on a morning when Noah was doing school in person (remember the crazy times with online school for the most part of 2020?)
Well, I am known for having a soft spot for shirt dresses and this Daphne Wilde has a monogrammed belt as a bonus, which is a nice personal touch! Red- Brown colors against the golden fields are creating a beautiful chromatic contrast that I really love. These photos are a good remainder to revisit this wonderful trail and take new photos that I will hopefully post this year:)

Looking back to some warmer days when the late summer wild flowers were still in bloom. Can’t believe how fast time goes and we are already in the Fall season and soon enough the winter Hollidays will approach us … In the meantime, let’s enjoy the Fall foliage, its bold colors and everything that comes with it.

Last month on the trail surrounded by these colorful flowers that are long gone by now. As always, we have photos to remember each season, place and moment we have spent together over the years and I treasure each and every one…
Both Caroline and I wore the same print dresses of course in different sizes but this time was a true matchy- matchy moment!

Here are some photos of us enjoying the last summer moments. Not ready yet to say goodbye to Summer but Fall is already here!

Today I have some photos from two weekends ago at the Longwood Gardens. We decided not to travel anywhere this year on Labor Day weekend so we took a stroll in the meadow because it’s carefree and we haven't visited this place for quite some time. As you notice I opted for boots (looking forward to wear them more often in the upcoming season) and a navy and white floral dress from Hunter Bell NY fall collection. Dark florals are here just in time for Autumn and I love this dress print, flow and length. Discover their new collection here and use code: VeraHB15 at checkout for a 15% off on full prices!

Enjoy!

To tell you the truth, I never thought I will get to experience a field of tulips like these, here at home in PA and with that clearly I underestimated my home state. Don’t get me wrong, I know and admire Pennsylvania for its variety of everything that has to offer but I was caught by surprise with this fantastic farm. Not to mention that we found out we were visiting in the last full day of tulips. Now it's noted, and next year we are planning the trip early when all the tulips are in full bloom. Still, even if it was almost over, we were all enchanted by these colorful beauties and we got to pick up our own bouquet to take home.

It was right after Caroline's birthday when we revisited Nemours Estate once again. Azalea was in full bloom, even cherry blossoms were at that time in bloom so we enjoyed a few hours with the kids in this colorful garden. As you can notice Wellington boots and dresses are a thing for me and I will use any excuse to wear this pairing. This time was after a rain night and I knew we were going to wonder everywhere in the grass on that day ...

Spring flowers are in full bloom and lately, we had enjoyed visiting our favorite garden, making memories and playing with the flowers. These are the best moments and one of the reasons I love Spring! Caroline was mesmerized by the big magnolia flowers so here are few shots from that day!

First and probably the last look with a sweater dress now when the winter comes at its end, but at least I can mark check ✔️on this category. Sweater dresses are my go-to essential pieces for winter but not this year (it’s a first ). We were covered in snow and hit by low temperatures so I didn’t take many outfits photos this season. Well, I will do it for sure next winter, if I don't have the chance to wear them again these days.

P.S. I don't have photos with Caroline together this time, but I managed to take a few snaps of her sitting on the bench in the conservatory.

Back in November it was the right time to wear this double dress layering that I wanted to try since summer. It’s a great mix for fall, even early Spring when the weather start to be nicer. What I love about this mix is the fact that the second dress, the shirt dress looks like a coat. I love combinations like this where one piece is in a bold color and one is focused on prints. Accessories? Again leather gloves! I do own many shirt dresses and vintage maxi dresses and I will definitely try more combinations like this when the weather allows it.
